The First United Methodist Sanctuary is located at Avenue H and Fourth Street. All are invited to come and fellowship during the Sunday School at 9:40 am and the 10:40 am traditional worship service.

The worship service begins with words of welcome and announcements. Then a musical prelude and the lighting of altar candles focuses our attention on worship through prayers and praise, with liturgy and hymns.

The Chancel Choir leads hymns of praise and worship. A liturgist reads Old and New Testament scriptures. After the sermon by our pastor the congregation expresses gratitude through offerings, offertory, and doxology. The service concludes with an invitation to Christian discipleship, a hymn of commitment and a benediction.

Worship services are also enhanced by Bell Choirs, instrumental and vocal ensembles, dramatic presentations, or by Sacred Expressions, the church’s liturgical dance team. Come and join together. Lift up our soul. And begin each new week in the grace and peace of God.
